Warwickshire is most famous as being the birthplace of William Shakespeare, but it is also well known as a great place to take a hot air balloon ride in the UK. Warwick Castle

One of the most impressive buildings of its kind, Warwick Castle was built in 1068 by William the Conqueror. Originally made out of wood, the castle was rebuilt in stone in later years and is home to some very impressive battlements, which look even better when viewed from overhead.

The River Avon

Draycote Water

Draycote Water is a large reservoir and country park located close to the village of Dunchurch. Spanning more than 600 acres and with more than five billion gallons of water, a herd of more than 200 alpacas live here. It is also a popular place for windsurfers and fly-fishing enthusiasts, making it is one of the most interesting features to observe from above.

Lunt Roman Fort

Fans of history will be hoping to spot the Lunt Roman Fort, which has been completely excavated by archaeologists. On the site, you can see a reconstructed wooden gateway, a ‘gyrus’ horse training ring, and many other leftovers from the Roman occupation of Britain.
