Giant hot air balloon to fly over elementary school

A huge hot air balloon bearing the colours of US real estate firm RE/MAX is scheduled to tether at E. J. Moss Elementary School in Lindale, Texas. The balloon is 70 feet tall and aims to educate the school’s students on thermodynamic principles. Owner of Lindale’s RE/MAX Legacy, Kerissa Payne, said the upcoming presentation at the elementary school is one of the most exciting she has ever had the chance to work on. She added:
“We’re encouraging kids to bring their parents, and parents to bring their cameras. “The balloon pilot is a skilled aviator, but is also a great entertainer and educator. He’ll gather the kids around to demonstrate the mechanisms that launch and navigate the balloon, as well as a brief history of mankind’s progress in achieving powered flight.”
RE/MAX reportedly has one of the world’s largest fleets of hot air balloons, and schedules appearances at events all over the world – including office openings, educational activities and community gatherings. The company uses hot air balloons as symbols of the freedom its agents have when it comes to developing their own businesses, as well as the quality of the services it provides. Texas is no stranger to hot air balloon flights. Each year, the Great Texas Balloon Race, which has been running since 1977, attracts competitive pilots from all over the world. This year, it will be hosted in Longview towards the end of July. More information about the E. J. Moss Elementary School balloon appearance is available at http://www.livelindale.com.
