Great Texas Balloon Race to host Championship event for another year

The Great Texas Balloon Race was recently granted permission to hold the Balloon Federation of America’s US National Championship in Longview for another year.

The Federation Aeronautique Internationale’s Ballooning Hall of Fame recently welcomed the Rev John M Bacon into its ranks.

The famous inventor of the petrol burner was a resident of Cold Ash from the 1870s until 1904 and is widely recognised (more…)

UNICEF world balloon tour kicks off in New Zealand

A hot air balloon was launched from Auckland earlier this week, marking the beginning of a journey to raise awareness and donations for UNICEF.

Nottingham marks milestone balloon flight
