If you are the kind of family that likes to spend quality time together, trying out new things and having as many positive experiences as possible, you may want to consider booking a hot air balloon ride for four and descending into the Cornwall skies.

Although hot air balloon rides are often thought of as a romantic thing that lovers can enjoy, they are also perfect for family bonding experiences, especially since it is possible to book hot air balloon rides in Cornwall for four, and because the countyl has a wide range of landmarks and sights that will appeal to passengers of all ages.

Outstanding beauty

Of course, Cornwall is best known for its impressive landscapes, which include everything from wild moorland to sweeping coastline and everything in between. Places of particular interest include Bodmin Moor and the Eden Project, which are both equally as delightful when viewed from above as they are from below, and provide plenty of sights that all members of the family can enjoy, from wild flowers to wild animals – who knows, you may even catch a glimpse of the famed Beast of Bodmin?

Architectural splendour

Although nature’s creations are undoubtedly the stars of the show in Cornwall, there are also more than a few manmade landmarks that are well worth checking out on a family hot air balloon ride. Perhaps the most spectacular is the Minack Theatre, an open air theatre that resembles an ancient ruin and looks absolutely stunning when lit up in the evenings. In fact, we recommend flying over it at sunset for the biggest impact. Tintagel Castle, a National Heritage property built in the 1230s, also makes for a very romantic sight no matter what time of the day or night you fly over.
